01: Best seller of bike water bottle – Polar Bottle sports insulated water bottle
4.6 out of 5 from 8,566 global customer ratings on amazon:
I bought the 20 oz. water bottle, as the 24 oz. I had was too long to fit into a cage on the seat tube of my bike without rubbing my leg when I pedal. I thought it would be constructed in a similar fashion to its bigger sibling (white inside with dimples), but it was – which is fine. I read some other reviews about leaking from the 20 oz. bottle, so I filled it up, turned it upside down, and shook the bottle to watch for leaks. Happily there were no leaks nor any annoying odor some reviewers experienced. I use the 20 oz. in the seat tube cage and the 24 oz. in the down tube cage. I fill these with as much ice as possible before late afternoon rides in SE TX that will last up to 3 hours. Near the end of my rides, I still have water that is at least cool, which is a win. These are never going to compete with metal insulated drink containers that cost far more for a water bottle. However, most people would not want to use a metal water bottle in a metal cage (scratching) and a metal bottle may not have the ease of use with one hand while riding. These work very well for the situation, as they can take a fall without getting dented.
02: Best Plas tic Insulated bike water bottle -Camelbak Podium Chill 21oz

Always ride with an insulated bottle, especially in the summer. Load it up with ice and have cold drink for about two hours, depending on the temp. Will completely freeze a second bottle with sports drink and ice cubes overnight. By time first bottle is gone, this one is cold and ready.
03: Best cheap price bike water bottle – 50 Strong Sports Squeeze Water Bottle
4.4 out of 5 7,401 global customer ratings on amazon
These bottles are the right weight (not too light) and the right flexibility (ease of squeeze). When received, there was a slight plastic smell so I filled them with water and a little Dawn and left them for 2 days. After rinsing, there are no more odors of any kind. Pure water in, pure water out. There was a small issue which was easy to fix, and that is there is a slight production flange left around the rim that doesn’t quite permit a perfect seal. This is the issue I’ve seen a few complaints about. But such an easy fix – I hit each bottle rim lightly with 220 grit sandpaper and now they are both perfect, holding pressure under substantial squeeze (see photo). Sure, the manufacturer should do this, but the fix is too easy to even take off one star. Love em.
04: Best metal bike insulated water bottle – Travel Kuppe Vacuum Insulated Stainless Steel Cycling Sports Water Bottle
4.6 out of 5 712 global customer ratings on amazon
Wanted an insulated bottle for coffee that was designed for a bicycle water bottle cage. Commute to work by bike and was tired of using plastic water bottles or sports bottles that rattled in my w/b cage and/or had lids that leaked.
This bottle works great and serves my needs wonderfully. Comes with two lids and I saw issues mentioned. I ordered bottle and got it right away April 2, 2019. When testing straw I could get nearly all water out of the bottle. There seemed to be some concerns on straw.
05: Best Fuel bike water bottle – Gatorade Gx Bottle
4.6 out of 5 11,125 global customer ratings on amazon
Honestly it’s just another way for Gatorade to convince my kids if they want to be cool they need these water bottles that require pods and the pods are next to impossible to get and they are expensive.
My son loves these but they are really hard to find and very expensive. Not enough flavors are offered. The only choice was sugar free which I really don’t b like my son to have. Better off with the powder and a regular Gatorade bottle or just buying the pre made type.
